This limited-edition 9-pan palette has a cool, icy vibe with a mix of silvery metallics and mattes. Think shimmering silvers, cool-toned taupes and purples, and a touch of charcoal grey and black for drama.
The formula is great – the shadows are highly pigmented, and feel like a “baked gelee” type of formula. The shadows aren’t powdery but have a thin, smooth, almost glossy texture. Blending is easy when you use slightly stiffer brushes to pick up the product. For a really quick look, fingertips work too. The shimmers are sparkly without being chunky. There is little to no fallout.
It’s easy to create a dramatic smoky eye with this palette with almost no effort. It’s one of the most stunning palettes in the Dior Backstage line. If you can find it, definitely check it out.
Final Thoughts
This palette is really something special. But it’s hard to be find and is pretty pricey.
If you’re a silver lover and don’t mind the price, it is a great addition to your collection. If you’re on a budget, or can’t find this palette, there are other options out there with a similar color story.
